Owner is a caring and helpful professional
During a recent stsy on the island, my husband snd I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary with a full vow renewal and reception. We had brought wedding clothes for pressing in one of the stores in the Baileys complex but the cleaners closed early without us knowing that a change in hours due to Covid and we found ourselves without the wedding party’s clothing for the reception. Richard Johnson and his wife, Mead Bailey Johnson came to the rescue and opened the cleaners to retrieve our clothes!  We have always shopped in Baileys every year we vacation on Sanibel because they have the freshest produce, meats, seafood, and the best priced groceries on the island. Now, we have another reason to be dedicated customers. Thank you both for your caring and industrious resolution to what could have been a real damper on our special day! Nice selection for an island store

A grocery store and more!!
We stocked up on breakfast items, and lunch sandwiches. Such a great store. Whatever you need they have it. We also bought some key lime tarts and other sweets.  A good variety on everything. Stock up !

Store With A History
We went grocery shopping at Bailey's when one of the maintenance people at our rental said that's where many locals shop.  Half of the store is a grocery/deli and have is a hardware/souvenir store.  Prices were what we'd expect being on Sanibel but we were able to find everything that we were looking for and went back a couple more times for small items. Coffee and Groceries:  This is your place!
I came here every morning for my coffee!  The deli even has hot breakfast and lunch items.  If you have a small fridge or microwave in your hotel, save yourself some money (eating on Sanibel is not cheap) and get some groceries.
